A qualitative methodology was employed, using an approach based on systematic literature review. An exhaustive search was carried out in various academic sources and specialized journals to collect and analyze relevant research and existing theories on the subject. The results revealed the importance of integrating pedagogical strategies that encourage critical thinking and problem solving in all areas of study, as well as the need to adapt the curriculum to address these skills effectively. Emerging patterns were identified in the literature that highlight the interrelationship between critical thinking, creativity and the ability to solve problems in a contemporary educational environment. Through a comprehensive review of the literature, it is confirmed that effective leadership in educational institutions is closely linked to higher student achievement. This positive influence is reflected in higher graduation rates, higher levels of academic achievement, and a school climate more conducive to learning. Furthermore, it is highlighted that school leadership goes beyond administrative management, also involving pedagogical and socio-emotional aspects that affect the comprehensive development of students. Educational leaders who promote trust, caring, and equity in their school communities create an environment conducive to students' academic and personal growth.
